Our story

Strong roots. Looking ahead.

A family and transport story that began in Ragusa in the 1950s. From Giuseppe Carnazza’s work to Nuova Logistica Ragusana.

A story that started long ago

Among Ragusa’s first hauliers, Giuseppe Carnazza started his business in the 1950s with a simple cart, carrying salt and wood to the many bakeries in the Ragusa area.

As the railway network developed, Giuseppe decided to focus on goods distribution, driven by a great passion for work and a tireless spirit of initiative: values found today in his sons Leonardo, Antonio and Emanuele.

During the economic boom, the railway became the main supply channel for raw materials such as paper, flour and water. Someone was needed to unload the wagons and distribute the products to their destinations. More and more companies began to rely on Giuseppe Carnazza, recognising his reliability and precision.

Supported by his wife Domenica, he became one of Ragusa’s first road hauliers, laying the foundations of an activity that would grow into a true family business. Today, his grandchildren carry it forward with the same commitment and dedication, continuing to develop and innovate the Carnazza tradition.
